Case studies

You might see yourself here.

Twelve composite stories from real client work, with details changed for confidentiality. The struggles and the shifts are real.

When you're running on empty and can't stop

Before. You used to love this work. Now you wake up tired, dread the inbox, and feel nothing when something goes well. You tell yourself you just need a holiday. You've had holidays. The exhaustion is back by the first morning.

The work. We start where you are: depleted. We find the signals your body has been sending that you learned to override, and the part of you that believes rest has to be earned. Small daily practices rebuild capacity before we change anything big.

After. Energy returns in small ways first: a real laugh, a morning you don't dread. You notice depletion early, rest without guilt, and decide what to carry from a fuller tank.

When stress has become your baseline

Before. Shoulders up by your ears. Jaw clenched in meetings. You fall asleep scrolling and wake at 3am running through tomorrow. Everyone says you handle pressure brilliantly. No one sees what it costs.

The work. We teach your nervous system what steady feels like again. You learn to catch stress as it rises, and practise ways to come down in minutes, not days: breath, grounding, and resets you can use between meetings.

After. Pressure still comes, but it no longer lives in your body all day. You sleep more deeply, and you respond to hard moments instead of reacting to them.

Holding boundaries with family without losing yourself

Before. At work, you're the one everyone counts on. With family, you're twelve again. One phone call and your chest tightens, and you've said yes before you've decided.

The work. We listen to the tight chest and held breath, meet the part of you that keeps the peace at any cost, and practise saying no until your body stops treating it as danger.

After. The pull still comes, but you catch it in time. You can love your family and still end the call as yourself.

04 · Team work

Moving through conflict between high-performing teams

Before. Tight jaws, careful words, cameras off. Talented, exhausted people, each sure the other team is the problem. The real conversations happen afterward, in private messages.

The work. A shared language for stress in the body, two minutes of settling before each meeting, and a safe space to say what people actually need.

After. "I'm getting activated" replaces the sharp email. Conflict comes into the room, and the work moves again.

Leading as a founder: accountability without losing rapport

Before. You love your team. So you swallow the missed deadlines and lie awake at 2am rehearsing conversations you won't have. When you finally speak, it comes out sharp.

The work. We find the old fear underneath (if I disappoint them, they'll leave) and practise being direct and warm at once. We slow hiring down, so you can tell a real yes from a panicked one.

After. Hard conversations happen early and land softly. Your team knows where they stand, and the closeness stays.

Negotiating as the adult you are now

Before. You know what you're worth, until the negotiation starts. Your throat closes and you hear yourself say "whatever works for you." Then the sinking feeling: I did it again.

The work. We meet the younger part of you that takes over when money or power is on the table, and practise the ask with feet grounded, breath low, voice steady.

After. You ask, let the silence sit, and stay in the room when you hear no. You leave having stood up for yourself.

07 · 1:1 coaching

Finding your voice

Before. You feel the idea rising. Then your heart races, your throat tightens, and the moment passes. Later, someone else says it and gets the credit.

The work. We slow down the moment before you speak, soften the inner critic that kept you small, and take small, gentle risks until being heard feels safe.

After. Your voice arrives on time. You disagree without apologising, and people start asking, "What do you think?"

08 · 1:1 coaching

Cutting through the noise of corporate culture

Before. Pings, back-to-back meetings, three "urgent" priorities before 9am. Busy all day, empty by evening, and no longer sure what actually matters.

The work. We use your body as a compass, noticing what makes you contract and what makes you steady, and build small resets into your day.

After. The noise stays, but you stop obeying it. You protect what matters and leave work feeling like yourself.

When an AI companion becomes the easier relationship

Before. It started late at night. Always there, always kind, never disappointed. Real people feel harder by comparison. It has become your easiest relationship, and your loneliest.

The work. No shame, just curiosity about what it gives you and what it protects you from. Then we practise being seen: first with a human coach, then with the people around you.

After. You understand what you were longing for. You reach for the AI less, because you have people to reach for instead.

When the pain keeps coming back

Before. You know the chiropractor's receptionist by name. Relief lasts a few days, then the tightness returns to the same place. The scans are clear. Your body disagrees.

The work. Alongside your medical care, we notice when the pain flares and what your body has learned to brace against, and help that bracing soften.

After. The pain stops feeling like the enemy. You catch the early signals and have ways to help your body let go.

When a trigger takes over your whole body

Before. A sound, a place, a tone of voice. Suddenly your heart is pounding and every part of you wants out. You start arranging your life around it, and your world shrinks.

The work. We never push you into what scares you. We build safety in your body first, then approach the edges of the fear at your pace. Where clinical treatment is needed, this work sits alongside it.

After. The wave still rises, but you know how to ride it down. Your world starts getting bigger.

When loving them means losing yourself

Healing from a relationship with a narcissistic partner

Before. At first, you'd never felt so seen. Now you walk on eggshells, replay conversations, and apologise for things you didn't do. Somewhere along the way, you stopped trusting your own gut.

The work. We help your body feel safe enough to think clearly, name the patterns without shame, and practise holding your ground, whether you stay and set limits or leave. Your choices stay yours.

After. You trust your own perception again. Their words land differently, and you remember who you were before you learned to shrink.
